Ban on using pictures of deities to prevent people from spitting

Vaishakh Krushna Pratipada

Solapur (Maharashtra): It has been observed that pictures of deities are being used to stop people from spitting in the common areas of commercial units. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has started lawful agitation against such anti-Hindu practice and it has achieved success in 2 months. Dr. Bhushan Kumar Upadhyaya, police commissioner has issued an order that such tiles, if used in construction, should be removed immediately and should not be used in future. Action will be taken against those who break the rule.

Many Hindus are making use of such tiles in the areas like stair-cases or walls to keep them clean. (Such Hindus are the real foes of Hindu Dharma! – Editor) HJS, therefore, submitted a representation to the Government that says that such use of tiles cause denigration of deities. The matter was also constantly followed up resulting in issue of the order by the Police Commissioner on 6th May 2009. This will help to put a curb on those involved in denigration of deities. HJS has thanked police administration for doing its duty.

Hindus must pay gratitude at the feet of God for this success!
