Nagar : We must conserve our traditions, customs. Although I am a woman and I have been appointed as a trustee, yet women will not be allowed to enter the chowthara. We must respect our traditions. This tradition is persisting since 300 to 400 years. As regards allowing men and women to enter the banned area, the rule is common to both genders. All have to take ‘Darshan’ from below the chowthara. No one needs disgrace the Deity, said Sau. Anita Shete, newly appointed president of the Shani Shingnapur Temple Committee, very point blankly while talking to the representative of Dainik Sanatan Prabhat. Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) have informed about congratulating Sau. Shete for taking a very bold stand concerning Dharma. Another member of the Board of Trustees, Sau. Shalini Lande was congratulated on behalf of HJS.
Since there was ban on women to enter the chowthara various organizations and public were criticizing the previous Board of Trustees. On this background for the first time Sau. Anita Chandrahas Shete was elected unanimously as the president of Shani Shingnapur Temple Committee in Nevase taluka, Dist. Nagar.
Bhumata Brigade of Nationalist Congress has challenged to enter the Deity Shani’s chowthara on 26th January. A speech in this regard is being circulated on ‘what’s app’ Opposing this, HJS, Sanatan Sanstha along with various devout Hindu organizations are inviting women to come participate to Shani Shingnapur to stop the proposed act against Dharma.
Anti-Hindu media !
Seeing Sau. Anita Shete being elected as the president of Shani Shingnapur Temple Committee, media had started publishing the news that now at least women will be allowed to enter the chowthara of Deity Shani; but taking the coherent stand with regard the Scriptures of Dharma Sau. Shete said that, the traditional ban on women was appropriate. After that anti-Hindu media published news like, despite having a lady president the injustice to women continues, under whose pressure is the lady president of Shani Shingnapur Temple Committee acting ? Is the lady president for the name sake ?
Will stop the activists of Bhumata Brigade to enter the village on 26th January !
The organization of women, Bhumata Brigade of Nationalist Congress has challenged to enter the Deity Shani’s chowthara on 26th January. This is absolutely erroneous. We are going to demand action in its opposition with the police administration. All the women in the village getting united have taken the stand to oppose activists of Bhumata Brigade and have resolved to stop their entry into the village, expressed Sau. Anita Shete, the newly appointed president of Shani Shingnapur Temple Committee, in an interview to a news channel.
Sau. Anita Shete has informed to support the movement of HJS and devout Hindus protecting Hindu’s religious traditions.
