Tiles with deities’ pictures removed after HJS guidance

Vaishakh Krushna Navami

Yavatmal (Maharashtra): In a three storeyed building where ‘City Center’ is located, tiles with pictures of deities were fitted in the common areas like staircases to prevent people from spitting. (This shows that knowledge on Dharma is badly needed by Hindus! – Editor)

When HJS members noticed these tiles, they met the owner of the building and explained to him about denigration of deities taking place with such use of their pictures. The owner assured to remove the tiles and later kept his promise. S/Shri. Piyush Paravekar and Shyam Munde took initiative in the matter.
