How will Hindus know the difference between Congress and BJP regimes if they have to demand construction of Ram Mandir even while BJP is in power ?
Chennai : 25 devout Hindus from 12 districts of Tamil Nadu belonging to different pro-Hindu organizations recently proceeded to Ayodhya. They are carrying with them ‘teertha (holy water)’ from various holy places; including Kanyakumari, Rameshwaram (South Kashi), Kumbhkonam etc. They are going to demand construction of ‘Ram Mandir’ after performing ‘abhishek’ with this holy water at Ayodhya. The journey is being undertaken under the leadership of Shri. Rajguru of ‘Bharat Suraksha Parishada’. He said while talking to reporters that
- BJP had promised to construct Ram Mandir before elections so we voted for them with lot of expectations; however, the Government is giving excuse of this matter pending in Court. In a country with Hindus in majority, laws need to be amended in the interest of Hindus.
- The Government should leave construction of Ram Mandir to Hindu citizens of this country like us; in case it is finding difficulty in passing necessary laws. We shall construct Ram Mandir.
- Law related to juvenile crime has been amended in view of the verdict passed in ‘Nirbhaya’ case. Similarly, Hindus’ religious sentiments should be respected and changes should be made in laws.
- All political parties came forward demanding lifting of ban on bull-fights organized during ‘Pongal’ festival. This matter was taken up to the Prime Minister and the President of this country although it is just a tradition. Prabhu Sri Ramchandra is however, Deity worshipped by all Hindus; still why none of the political parties is demanding amendment in laws; why nobody is raising voice against this issue ?
- A mosque can be built for 500 Muslims staying in a village where there are a lakh of Hindus and Hindus don’t create any obstacles in such construction. Then, why can’t Ram Mandir be built in a country where Hindus are in majority ? In fact, Muslims should offer help in construction of temple.
- Non-Hindus should be prohibited from carrying out business in the area of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Members of pro-Hindu organizations viz. Hindu Elyangar Eluchi Perwai, Sriram Sena, Tamil Nadu Hindu Mahasabha, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti etc. were present to see off the devout Hindus leaving for Ayodhya amidst acclamation of Prabhu Sriram.
