Ernakulam(Kerala) : Members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti visited the office of Ernakulam District Collector Mr. M.G. Rajamanickam on 14th January 2016 and appealed to him to take immediate steps to ensure proper respect of the National Flag and prevent the use of plastic for the National flag.
On this occasion, activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (Kum. Rashmi Parameshwaran, Shri. Balakrishna, Kum. Aditi Sukhtankar) and a dharmabhimani (Shri. Praveen) had come to give memorandum to the District Collector.
Highlights :
1. The District Collector listened attentively to the demand made by HJS and assured to take steps for it.
2. A video creating awareness on stopping disrespect to National Flag and various means by which the National Flag is disrespected, was shown to him on the occasion.
