Bangalore: HJS protests attacks on Indian Students

Banglore: Hindu Janajagruti Samiti conducted protest against the Racist Attacks in Australia on Indian students. The Protest held near Gandhi statue, M.G.Road. Vidhan saudha Bangalore at 11.00 Am to 12.30 PM which was noticed by almost two thousand office goers and passersby.

The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti strongly condemns these dastardly and cowardly attacks. Hindu Devoted more than thirty Dharmabhimani voluntary attended and strongly condemned radical attack on innocent hindu Students in abroad. HJS Karnataka State spokesman Shri.Mohan Gowda Addressing media people Said “Indian students specifically   Hindus and Sikhs have of late been the targets of racist attacks in Australia with a 25 year old student Shri Shravan Kumar battling for his life after a brutal assault and these attack are increasing day by Day. Thus there is a rising anger and frustration within the Indian Hindu community due to these racist attacks on the Indian Hindu students in Australia. Most of the attacks are opportunistic attacks and have come about due to the impression among criminal elements that our students are easy and soft targets. On the contrary if inadvertently some injustice happens on foreign students in India the matter is immediately taken up with UNO, International Human Rights Commission etc”. He warned the Central Government to put pressure on the Australian Government by taking up the issue in the International Forums and Indian Hindus should be safe in Australia just as their countrymen are safe in India. Than he demanded proper and speedy investigations in the matter to give early justice.

Devoted Hindus to convey the message of protection of Indian in abroad they were Shouting Slogans like Protect Hindus in Australia, Shame on Australian Government for not protecting the students Shame on Central Government for not taking any action.
The  agitation was covered by leading Newspapers like Bangalore mirror,Vijay Karnataka, Prajvani and Deccan Herald, varthabharathi, and Dinakaran,and KP News , Rajasthan patrike.,Sanjevani.and Electronic media like TV 9,Cnbc –cnn,IBN-7 During the protest Shri Rajan shinde south India Prasar sevak  was interviewed by CNBC CNN ,TV 18 where he said HJS is concernred about students in Australia. And to make Govt aware  to Take immediate actions HJS is conducting the protest all over India. www.hindujagruti.org and also started agitation globally.

After protest HJS team Submit the memorandam to Karnataka State Governer Personal Secretary shri. Gurumurthy and team instructed to submit memorandam to external affair minister of India to take immediate action.

Bangalore: Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) , Bangalore is hold a protest demonstration against the recent racial attacks on Indians and the Union Government’s indifferent attitude to take strong steps against the Australian Government in the International Forum to stop such attacks.

A delegation of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti also gave representation to the Honourable Governor Shri. Rameshwar Thakur immediately after the protest. 


Hindu Janjagruti Samiti Bangalore members meet the Chief Minister of Karnataka to express concern about racial attack on Indian students in Australia

Bangalore (Karnataka): Members of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) Bangalore, took part in the celebrations on the occasion of completion of one year of formation of Shri. Yedyurappa Chief Minister (CM), Government of Karnataka. The celebrations were held in the Banquet Hall of Vidhan Soudha (State Secretariat) Bangalore.

After the progamme the HJS members got an opportunity to hand over the petition to CM condemning the racial attack on Indian students in Australia. Sou. Purnima Prabhu requested that State Government should take the initiative in lodging their concern and demand for immediate action from the Australian Government for the safety of Indian students there. They also requested that the Sate Government should take the lead on this issue because a large number of students from Karnataka go to Australia for higher studiesThe members were advised to meet the Media Advisor of Chief Minister for further action.

Shri. Jagadeesh, the Media Advisor of the Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the HJS members and arranged to issue the letter from the Chief Ministers Office immediately. Later Shri. Sandeep Joshi briefed Shri. Jagadeesh about the activities of HJS. Copies of Dainik, Sapthaik and Masik SanatanPrabhat were shown to him informing as to how Sanatan Periodicals are acting as catalyst in creating awareness and educating the Hindus and also helping to build a strong Nation.

The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti is registered Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) doing social, religious and National welfare work. The Samiti has been formed by devoted Hindus doing voluntary charitable work. Samiti is active throughout India and educating people about Sanatan Hindu Dharma in scientific way, campaigning against malpractices done under religious practices  and solving problems connected with National, Religious and social field.

Indian students specifically   Hindus and Sikhs have of late been the targets of racist attacks in Australia with a 25 year old student battling for his life after a brutal assault. Thus there is a rising anger and frustration within the Indian Hindu community due to these racist attacks on the Indian Hindu students in Australia.
