Bangalore (Karnataka): Members of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, Bangalore Shri. Sandeep Joshi, Shri. Aravinda Baliga along with Shri. Yeshwant Kanglekar of Sanatan Sanstha met Shrimat Harshanandji Maharaj, President, Shri. Ramakrishna Mutt, Bangalore in their Ashram 3rd June 2009.
The members briefed about the ongoing activities of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti and sought the Blessings and guidance of Shrimat Harshanandji Maharaj for the ongoing activities of the Samiti. Poojya Maharaj lamented the present state of affairs of the country at large and Hindus in particular. He strongly advocated that a lobby of Hindu MPs and MLA’s irrespective of their party loyalties has to be formed at the earliest to face the continuous onslaught on Hindutva.

Citing example of the spontaneous protests by Muslims the world over, on the Danish cartoons he told that the Hindus should learn from them, regarding love and pride for their Dharma. But unfortunately there is absolutely no concern for the Hindus to protect Dharma.
Recollecting the reasons behind starting Shri. Ganeshotsav as a Public Celebration he expressed concern over the deterioration in recent years. He invited the Samiti for a joint campaign for creating awareness at least in an identified segment in Bangalore.

Shri. Yeshwant Kanglekar showed the recent publications of Sanatan Sanstha and the Sanatan Note Books. He also explained as to how the seekers of Sanatan are getting knowledge from the Divine and how H.H. Dr. Jayant Balaji Athavale, Sanatan Sanstha eliminates the negative energy from the knowledge so received. He also showed him the book containing various topics from the Dharma Shikshan Falak and told about the positive response from the society for display of these charts in temples and public places. Poojya Maharaj was highly impressed by the publications and invited the members to display the Sanatan Note books during a major program in July. He also told that he would take personal interest so that maximum students will get the benefit from them.
