Talegaon Dabhade (Maharashtra): “Today, I do not shed tears even if my country is burning but if someone starts crying in TV serials like ‘Yaa Gojirvaanyaa Gharaat’, we cry immediately. This situation should change. My heart should pine for my Nation and Dharma. If our iron like life gets touched by the ‘philosopher’s stone’ in the form of Sanatan, Bajarang Dal and other Hindu Organizations, our life will turn into gold.” The above views were expressed by H.B.P. Shevale Maharaj in a program jointly organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Shri Shivashambhu Smarak Samiti to celebrate ‘Coronation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shri. Sambhaji Maharaj.
The program began with lighting of ‘torch’ and performing ‘puja’ of pictures of Shiva-Shambhu. Advocate Ravindra Dabhade of Shri Shivashambhu Smarak Samiti and Shri. Parag Gokhale of HJS made introductory speeches. Shri. Gokhale said that the purpose of the program was to discuss the matters related to Hindu unity, attacks on Dharma and to find solutions. The program was attended by about 250 devout Hindus.
Shri. Milind Ekbote of Samasta Hindu Aghadi said that domes of temples and holy plant ‘tulsi’ would have been destroyed had Sambhaji Maharaj not sacrificed his life. There are two Dharma-peethas at the bank of River Indrayani and third ‘Shakti-peetha’ should also come up there; but not a single Hindu Organization has extended help in construction of such ‘peetha’.
Shri. Abhay Vartak of Sanatan Sanstha read out a portion from NCERT’s text book titled ‘Hamare Atit’ that has distorted our history. He said, “Sage Durvas had put a curse on Hanuman that he would forget his power; similarly, Hindus have forgotten their ‘Dharma’ today. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had prepared an army of soldiers who were ready to kill and not ready to die.
H.B.P. Shevale Maharaj have an oath of Hindu unity, protection of Nation and language to all devout Hindus attending the program. Shri. Ashishrao Pathak made the hall available for the program.
FACT’s exhibition on terrorism and oppression of Hindus in Kashmir was put up at the venue.
