Adopt education system teaching Indian culture: Karnataka CM

Bengaluru: Shri. B. S. Yediyurappa, the Chief Minsiter of Karnataka said during inaugural session of a program organized on behalf of ‘Students Education Service Trust’ that it is very much essential to have such education system that teaches Indian culture. He declared that six new universities will be opened in the State to teach art, music, Sanskrit, ‘Vedas’ etc. (Will other States ruled by BJP will follow suit? – editor SP)

He said further, “We can definitely carry necessary changes while adopting such education system to teach Indian culture. Those, who attacked this country, had used western education system to destroy our culture. But Indian education system is still surviving. ‘Gurukul’ pattern of Indian education system is acknowledged in the world.
