Specific movement by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS)!

Jalgaon (Maharashtra): Golani Market and walls of Nath Plaza building, deities’ pictures and tiles with their pictures were put up to dissuade people from spitting. (Such Hindus are also enemeies of  Hindus! Has anyone seen anywhere such a use of their ‘faith’? Or would people having faith in other religions ever dare to use them like this? – Editor SP)

Devout Hindus removing Deities’ pictures from walls

When activists of HJS came to know about the said tiles they informed those responsible for putting up those pictures and tiles there and they were removed immediately. Hence HJS specific movement was successful. In order to avoid such denigration elsewhere in the city HJS has distributed a pamphlet through which awareness is created among the people to stop such denigration.

It says in its pamphlet, ‘Hindus have faith in all their Deities. Out of ignorance about Dharma and due to lack of Dharmashikshan they use Deities pictures for very ordinary purpose forgetting about denigrating them. People from other religion never make use of the pictures of their Faith like this. Hindus also should observe it. One should not be instrumental in doing such denigration of the Deities. Those who have done the said denigration on the wall should remove them immediately.’

Let there be a ban on using tiles with Deities pictures on them in Jalgaon as is done in Solapur!

The Police Commissioner in Solapur has banned using tiles with Deities pictures for steps and wall by an order. A police case could be registered against the one who breaks this order, the order says. HJS has requested that the Police Inspector in Jalgaon too should also give such an order as that given in Solapur.
