Ban on ‘jeans’ and ‘top’ in Shwetambar Jain temple!

Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh):  To prevent the bad tendencies coming into Shwetamber Jain community, Jain temple in Ujjain has taken 6 decisions. According to these decision they have baned western outfits like ‘Jean’ and ‘top’ in their temples.( Congratulation to the Shwetambar Jain community for baning such western outfits in their temple! – Editor SP) H.H. Veeraratna Vijayji Maharaj  recently said, “ we are waisting money on decoration. This is waste of national wealth.” 

After his speech, youth wing of Shwetamber Jain community decided to organize marriages and other holy events in the morning time only. In the get together and parties there should not be more than 15 eating items. In the marriage and other procession women should not dance. Strict ban on the loud music and vulgar dances at holy places like temples. The community is going to make a resolution letter so that everybody will follow these rules. Also they are going to organise meets to encourage other brethren to follow these rules.
