Jalgaon (Maharashtra): In the recently held general body meeting of Jalgaon Municipal Corporation (JMC), a proposal to allot land under survey no. 214 at HUDCO, Pimprala was dismissed. Shri. Rajumama Bhole, the Opposition leader and a municipal councilor of BJP very out rightly stated that land for madarasa should not be given as what is taught in the madarasa and its after effects, are known to everyone. (Congratulations to Shri. Rajumama Bhole, a BJP corporator for blatantly expressing his views on education imparted in madrasa without any inhibition! – Editor SP)
He said further, “The Municipal Corporation should not discuss such topics as everyone would start demanding a piece of land to impart education related to their Dharma. The matter does not fall within the purview of Municipal authority.” Shri. Ramesh Jain, the Mayor said that such practice would not be started and dismissed the proposal of allotting land for madarasa.
