Tata Indicom renders apology for denigrating Lord Ganesh

Ashadh Shuddha Saptami

Solapur (Maharashtra):
‘Tata Indicom’ company’s branch at Lucky Chowk, had made mockery of Lord Ganesha in its advertisement. Devout Hindus lodged complaint with the police about the said advertisement. (Congratulations to devout Hindus from Solapur for lodging complaint with the police to stop damage caused to Dharma! – Editor SP) Later, ‘Tata Indicom’ rendered a written apology for the same and withdrew the said advertisement. (Hindus must pay gratitude at the feet of God for this success! – Editor SP)

Devout Hindus tried to create awareness among the concerned regarding denigration of the deity but lodged a complaint with the Chawadi Police Station as there was no response from the company. Following this, the company issued a letter rendering apology wherein it said, “We render apology if religious sentiments of Hindus have been hurt due to the advertisement.” (Why should there be such ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’? This shows that the concerned persons do not really feel that they have committed any mistake. We condemn such anti-Hindus! – Editor SP)
