We will discuss the issue of protection of religious traditions with Guardian Minister of Nagar ! – Promise by Shri. Eknath Shinde, Minister- Public Works Dept.
Mumbai : Few women are planning to climb temple-pedestal of Shri Kshetra Shani Shingnapur although women are not allowed to enter the temple. Shri. Eknath Shinde, Minister – Public Works and Guardian Minister of Thane district assured to women activists of HJS, Ranaragini and Sanatan Sanstha when they called on him that he would talk to Prof. Ram Shinde, the Guardian Minister of Nagar District, Superintendent of Police and District Collector about preserving the religious tradition. Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, State Coordinator of HJS, Sou. Savita Lele, Sou. Dhanashree Kelashikar and Sou. Vedika Palan were present on the occasion. Sou. Savita Lele said that women activists of Hindu organizations would be cordon of Shri. Shani temple and they should be provide police protection, restricting atheist women coming to break the tradition.
He was submitted a copy of resolution passed during celebrations of 75th birthday of H.B.P. Dinkar Maharaj Anchavale by Warkari Sampradaya from Nagar district demanding action against people trying to break religious traditions at Shani Shingnapur.
Copies of similar representation and resolution were submitted to Dr. Ranjit Patil, Minister of Home (State) Dept. He promised to look into the matter.
