Amravati (Maharashtra) : Mumbai High Court’s order on setting up committee for prevention of abuse of national flag should be implemented even in Amravati. Drive should be undertaken at district-level to prevent use of plastic national flags and to see to it that national flags were not desecrated in any manner. The above demand was made through representation submitted to District Collector Shri. Kiran Gite. Other demands made through the representation were action should be taken against fanatics taking part in riots at Malda (Bengal) doing justice to Hindus. Shri. Milind Sakhare, Kum. Mukta Khapare, Kum. Shrutika Wankhede of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sou. Savarkar and Shri. Sanjay Chaudhary of Sanatan Sanstha were present on the occasion.
