‘Shiv Sena (Women’s Front) will come on streets if atheist women are not stopped’

Dy. Inspector being given representation by women activists of Shiv Sena

Congratulations to Shiv Sena’s Women’s Front for joining drive for protection of religious traditions !

Nagar (Maharashtra) : On 26th January, so-called progressive and atheist women are planning to climb the temple sanctum of Shanidev at Shani Shingnapur so as to break the age-old tradition. Police should stop these atheist women; else activists of Shiv Sena-Women’s Front will come on streets, was the warning given by Sou. Sushama Padule and Sou. Asha Nimbalkar. Representation in this connection was submitted to Dy. Inspector Shri. Malkar of Kotwali police station on 22nd January in the presence of Shiv Sena’s municipal councillor Kanta Bothe, its women front’s convener Aruna Goyal etc. along with women activists. It has been stated in the representation that they would be opposing atheists’ act like climbing temple-sanctum. Police should foil attempts of such atheists; else it can lead to law and order problem since they would hurt Hindus’ religious sentiments with such action. Police Department should take timely action and prevent them from entering Nagar district. In case that does not happen, Shiv Sena will have to give apt reply in its style to prevent wrong things like climbing temple-sanctum.
