Akola (Maharashtra): Identity of Hindustan is in jeopardy owing to distortion of history. There is a need for all Hindus, pro-Hindu organisations, journalists and TV channels to be vigilant and try to stop such distortion. Hence, it is necessary to publish a book which can awaken the self-respect of the nation. This book can be used in the curriculum to abolish such distorted history which has put identity of Hindustan in danger.
The above views were expressed by Smt. Himani Savarkar, the president of Hindu Mahasabha, in a press conference held at ‘Skylark Hotel’.
True education is received only by learning history and hence, it is necessary to quash distorted history and put true Indian history before the students. In the name of secularism, the government is constantly throttling Hindus. Time has now come for Hindus to remember the contribution of Swatantryaveer Savarkar, take the government to task and be ready to fight for every right, she said.
She also lauded Dainik Sanatan Prabhat by saying, “Despite democracy, Hindus are always oppressed in the name of secularism. The government of this country is responsible for the same. ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ is the only daily newspaper that is engaged in very important task of publishing such news about problems faced by Hindus and their continuous oppression.”
