HJS’ protest against NCERT’s controversial History Books

Vizag (Andhra Pradesh): The activists of HJS along with VHP,Hindu Jagran Manch and the seekers of Sanatan sanstha agitated in front of District collectorate and gave the memorandum to the Governor, The Chief Minister and the Education Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, against the wrong and anti Hindu History being taught through the History books published by the NCERT.

At 11.30 hrs all were gathered at Shri Krishna Chaitanya Mutt and after offering the prayers to Lord Shri Krushna marched towards the collectorate with anti NCERT slogans and holding play cards in the hand. At the Junction of Collectorate the Kopra Sabha was addressed by Mr. Chetan Janardhan of HJS. While speaking he referred to the respective objectionable books and showed its contents with pictures and narrated how the youths of this great and ancient country are misguided and drifted away from the main national spirit.

Almost all the leading national and local press and TV media reporteres with cameramen were gathered. They surrounded Mr. Chetan to have his interview and gather more information on the subject. The whole agitation got wide publicity. Especially uninvited press reporters and TV cameramen were present since ongoing agitation against price rise was organised by the local political party by name Praja Rajyam.
Print Media was represented by: ENADU, Varta, Andhra Jyothi, Andhra Bhoomi, Sakshi, Andhra Prabha, Leader, Manabhoomi and other local press.
Electronic Media was Represented by: TV9, TV5, MAHATV, Home TV, CITI Cable, Cablevision, Zee Telugu, Local TV, ETV2, Shreedevi Channels and I News.
Special Features:
1. A well wisher and a Tutor by name Shri Vasu of Satyashree Tutorials had sent 15 students of him to participate.
2. As if it was preplanned by God,the media gathered for the agitation of Praja Rajyam against price rise. This all media took coverage of HJS’ protest against NCERT.
3. Totally 35 activists from all above mentioned organisations had participated.
