Deities’ pictures in building to prevent spitting removed

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s guidance effective!

Kolhapur (Maharashtra): Pictures of Deities which were put to prevent people from spitting, in the District Central Bank building in Gadhinglaj, were removed. The pictures were removed in 2 days due to the guidance given by Mr. Vilas Vesnekar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) about denigration of the Deities caused thereby. (Hindus, pay gratitude to God for achieving this success. Such devout Hindus are required today ! –Editor SP)

There is a branch office of the District Central Bank in Gadhinglaj. Mr. Vilas Vesnekar had gone to the bank to pay a bill. He saw the pictures of Deities put up on the wall in order to prevent people from spitting. Taking cognisance of the disrespect caused to the Deities, he explained to the manager of the bank, Mr. Desai, as to how putting pictures of Deities on the wall to prevent spitting, amounts to denigration of the Deities. Mr. Desai assured him of getting the pictures removed in 2 days time and got them removed.
