Before Islamic State is established in the country, Hindus should unite ! – Satyavijay Naik, HJS
Canacona : Due to secular regime of 68 years the country is facing innumerable problems presently. If there is secular government then there should be Common Civil Code. Why is it not being applied still ? Before Islamic State is established in our country, Hindus must unite, stated Shri. Satyavijay Naik of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing the Hindu Sangathan Melava at Shri Parshuram Temple Hall, Paingini, Canacona. Dr. Manoj Solanki, State convener of HJS was also present on this occasion.
The programme commenced with the blowing of conch shell and was followed by lighting the auspicious lamp at the hands of Shri. Umesh Prabhudesai of RSS. Dr. Manoj Solanki spoke on ‘Attacks on Hindu organisations and need of Hindu unity’. Thereafter there was discussion regarding uniting Hindus. Many of the assembly have agreed to take the initiative to start various projects like, ‘starting classes giving education on Dharma’ (Dharmashikshan) in temples, ‘putting up charts related to Dharmashikshan’, ‘awakening children and youth step by step with regard to promoting our culture’, ‘organising lectures relating to Dharma’. Some devout Hindus present on the occasion pointed out that at Gudhi Paroda (Quepe) area conversion of faith is being rampant and there is need to make Hindus realise the importance of Hindu religion. They also demanded spreading of Dharma (Dharmaprasar) which was essential. Many supported the mission of stopping western practices like celebrating ‘Valentine Day’ and to conserve ancient Bharatiya culture by signing the memorandum kept at the venue. Shri. Shailesh Behre compered on the occasion.
