Tamil Nadu : Hindu organisations submit memorandum regarding Malda riots

Chennai : Activists from Hindu organisations submitted memorandum to Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on 30th January 2016 to urge Union Home Minister to take stringent action against fanatic jihadis responsible for riots in Malda (West Bengal) and institute a judicial inquiry into the riots. Memorandum was accepted by Chief Minister’s Special Cell officer at secretariat. Shri. Venugopal, District president for North Chennai, Shivasena along with party members, Shri. R. D. Prabhu, President of Bharat Hindu Munnani accompanied Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s coordinator Shri. Shriram Luktuke. All the Hindutvavadis present for memorandum submission felt, the state Government should learn lesson from Malda incident and take necessary precautions and preventive actions in their respective states.

Thanjavur : Similar memorandum was submitted at District Collector’s office, at Thanjavur. Shri. Pala Santhosh Kumar, President Hindu Illagar Yaluchi Peravai & HJS website visitor were present during memorandum submission.

At same time Hindu Illagar Yaluchi Peravai also submitted separate appeal letter to Collector’s Office, to provide necessary protection to Mahamaham festival (Dakshin Kumbhamela) from the increasing jihadi terrorist activities.
