Legacy of Swami Vivekananda should be carried forward : HJS

Kedgaon : Swami Vivekananda propagated Hindu Dharma all over the world during 19th century. He had to face many difficult situations while working as ‘Hindu Dharma-Prasarak’; but he ceaselessly continued his work related to propagation of Hindutva and we need to carry forward his legacy, stated Shri. Parag Gokhale of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing prize distribution ceremony for Chess competition held on behalf of Veer Savarkar Yuva Manch at Kedgaon. The other dignitaries attending the program were Kedgaon’s Sarpanch Sou. Swati Deshmukh, Shiv-jayanti Utsav’s Chairman, Shri. Vitthal Shelake, Dr. Nilesh Lonakar, President Swa. Savarkar Yuva Manch and Sou. Swati Kotalikar, a seeker of Sanatan Sanstha. It is the 9th year of this competition. People from Shirur, Junnar, Pune, Ambegaon, Baramati, Kedgaon, Malegaon, Shivajinagar etc. took part in the competition and they were from age group of 6 years – 55 years. This competition is held every year on the first Sunday after Republic Day.

Highlights

1. ‘Dharmashikshan’ boards and boards displaying intense thoughts of Swa. Savarkar were put up at the venue of the program.

2. ‘Tilak’ was applied on participants’ forehead before they entered the hall.
