Temple trustees refuse permission for Hindu Dharmasabha under police pressure

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had organized Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha on 14th February 2016 at Worli in a temple; but temple trustees refused to grant permission for ‘sabha’ owing to pressure exerted by police. Earlier, trustees had granted permission for the ‘sabha’ considering activities of HJS. Later, police went to house of one of the trustees and conducted inquiry, pressurizing him to withdraw permission. Finally, the trustees refused permission on 12th February for holding such ‘sabha’. The venue of the ‘sabha’ was changed due to trustees refusing permission under pressure tactics used by police.
