Shribag: Discussion Session for Advocates for the protection of Dharma and the Nation

Shribag (Alibag, Maharashtra): While talking in a Discussion Session for Advocates in Shribag, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Honorary Lawyer Advocate Mr. Ramdas Kesarkar said, “Sighting today’s worsening situation of Hindus, it is clear that today no one is the savior of Hindus. Today’s situation is such that ‘Hindusthan means where Hindus do not have any space for them’. To change this situation Advocates should contribute and it is very good way of paying back ‘Samajrun’.” A discussion session was organized here in the Hall of Sreeram Temple at 6 P.M. in the evening.

Adv. Mr. Kesarkar further said, “Advocates have succeeded in creating revolutions in History, but in today’s scenario it is not possible for one or two persons. So it is very essential that all Advocates should come together through some medium to be active for the welfare of the society in this situation. If calamities that have struck Dharma and the Nation go away, only then can we live in this society. Thus it is more appropriate to offer skills to protect Dharma and the Nation instead of ‘practice’ for self.”

At this time, dignitaries present on the Dias were Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Mr. Shriram Kane, Advocate from Shribag Mrs. Vibha Mehta and Advocate from Panvel Mr.Vishwas Bhide were present. In the program Mr. Shriram Kane gave information about the current situation of Hindus to Advocates, while Adv. Mr. Vishwas Bhide appealed to the present Advocates to give time for Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s work for protection of Hindu Dharma.

Adv. Mrs. Vibha Mehta said, “To fight against the malpractices involved in Hindu Festivals, the only good solution is to live a Spiritual life.” The program was compeered by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Mr. Umesh Athavale, while HJS’ Shribag activist Mr. Sudhakar Padhye introduced the work of HJS. The program was attended by 30 Hindus including 15 Advocates. All Advocates were impressed by information in speech by Mr. Kesarkar and agreed to meet on 3rd October 2009 in the evening at 7 P.M. at the same place i.e. Sreeram temple Hall.

Highlights

1. Adv. Mr. Bhushan Salvi and Adv. Mr. Digambar Rane appraised the work of HJS and assured them to help HJS by all means.
2. When Adv. Mrs. Vibha Mehta told the audience that ‘When Mallika Sheravat supporting vulgarity came to Shriag, we lady Advocates staged an agitation against her.’ Then instantaneously one Advocate congratulated her with heartfelt applause.
3. Everyone was listening attentively to the speech by Adv. Mr. Kesarkar.
