Shiroda (Maharashtra): When Hindus will learn about their true history of the valour shown by their leaders in the past, the radiance of self-respect will be generated in them. Chhatrapati Shivaraya has set an example before Hindus by slaying the burly Afzal Khan. The followers of other religions have objection to the display of picture showing slaying of Afzal Khan as this will create confidence in Hindus that even if the enemy is strong, he can be killed. If they are not accepting this history today, they may take objection to even a picture of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in future. This effort to obliterate the history of our brave kings should be foiled by Hindus. The above views were expressed by Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for the State of Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Hindu young women are getting drawn in the net of ‘fatwa’ like ‘Love jihad’ and spoiling their life

We use words like ‘hello’ while talking over phone; thus we accept the customs followed in Western culture every day. Rani Padmini, the queen of Chittod preferred to end her life along with her 8000 female attendants to keep away from Alluddin Khilji. Hindu young women have, however, forgotten the history and they are falling prey to ‘fatwas’ like ‘Love Jihad’ spoiling their life. When knowledge is imparted about one’s Dharma, the respect towards Dharma is developed and cases of conversion will not take place. ‘Dharma-shikashn’ is, therefore, very much essential, stated Mr. Shinde.

Mr. Veeresh Mainkar, the chief of ‘Dharma-shikshan’ classes held at Kerwada, compeered the program. Mr. Kalidas Bandekar, the coordinator of the Branch presented a review of activities undertaken by Kerwada Branch. Mr. Sunil Masurkar welcomed Mr. Shinde. The program was attended by more than 90 devout Hindus. The members of audience showed interest in attending ‘Dharma-shikshan’ classes held by HJS.
