Comparing Kanhaiya Kumar with Bhagat Singh is an insult of martyrs : HJS

Shri. Ramesh Shinde, the national spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) said that comparing Kanhaiya Kumar with patriot like Bhagat Singh is an insult of martyrs in response to the statement made by Congress leader Shashi Tharoor. In a press release of HJS, Shri. Shinde has stated that

1. In his speech at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Congress leader Shashi Tharoor referred to Kanhaiyakumar, an accused in sedition case, as Bhagat Singh. It shows that Congress leaders, voted out by people of this country, have lost all sense as to who should be called as a revolutionary and whom to call an anti-national.

2. Congressmen referring to terrorist Osama Bin Laden as Osamaji, with respect, during their regime, were insulting martyrs like Bhagat Singh and Rajguru by referring to them as terrorists through school text books.

3. Bhagat Singh fought with the British and Kanhaiyakumar is challenging patriotism of Indians. Is Tharoor so ignorant that he doesn’t know the difference ?

4. Recently, Congress had insulted revolutionaries by accusing Swatantryaveer Savarkar as fake patriot and calling Chandrashekhar Azad as real patriot. Owing to narrow-mindedness of Congressmen, they cannot look beyond Nehru and Gandhi, to other revolutionaries.

5. By insulting Swatantryaveer Savarkar yesterday and insulting martyr Bhagat Singh today, Congress has continued the tradition followed by Gandhi family, of insulting revolutionaries and it must be condemned.
