HJS joins in public celebration of Holi at Nigade (Dist. Pune)

Bhor (Dist. Pune) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) conducts Dharmashikshan class at Nigade. It was decided by all devout Hindus and local residents to collectively celebrate Holi festival on 23rd March. A rally creating awareness towards celebration of Holi festival, was taken out from Shri Mahalakshmi Mandir to ‘Gram-devata’ Shri Mahakali Mandir. Prof. Shrikant Borate of HJS explained to participating devout Hindus including more than 80 local residents, the importance of Holi festival, science behind this festival and different malpractices taking place during such celebrations. This program was organized by devout Hindus attending Dharmashikshan class.

Highlights

1. Devout Hindus joined the rally displaying boards on different topics of Dharmashikshan.

2. Many local residents were offering ‘sacrament’ where Holi was to be lighted when devout Hindus from Dharmashikshan class explained the science as per Dharma-shastra to those people.
