Kozhikode : Ever largest Hindu Congregation took a vow to protect Kerala and Bharat

Mahabharatham Dharma Raksha Sangam at Kozhikode converged 2.5 lakh Hindus to protect Hindu Dharma in Kerala and Bharat.


Kozhikode : Over two and half lakh Hindus converged on the Kozhikode beach on Wednesday afternoon for the Mahabharatam Dharmaraksha Sangamam 2016 to perpetuate the message of Hindu Might and Right in the ever largest Hindu congregation in the city beach and also as a remarkable Hindu alert in Kerala too.

The mammoth Hindu Dharmik programme was organised by various Hindu spiritual organisations such as Chinmaya Mission, Sri Ramakrishna Mission, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Kolathur Advaitha Ashramam along with the right-wing Hindu organisations like Dharmaraksha Vedi, Hindu Munnani, Dharma Jagran Manch, VHP etc. The participants came mainly from the districts of Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Malappuram and Palakkad in Kerala.

The spiritual programme

The saffron clad spiritual gurus of different sects of Hindu fold came together alongwith Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev for inauguration of  the programme with the chanting of Vedic hymns and  with sloganeering such as “Bharath Matha ki Jai”, “Hindu Dharma ki Jai” and “Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah”. The head of the Sivagiri Mutt, Swami Prakashananda, delivered the keynote address after conducting a puja of the waters collected from all the rivers in Kerala.

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy spoke on the occasion about the rich Indian heritage and culture enshrined in the harmonious Hindutva as its magnificent tenets. Organising committee chairman and Kolathur Advaitha Ashramam head Swami Chidanandapuri presided over the function.

Vazhoor Theertha Pada Asramam head Swami Prajnanananda Theethapadar, Santhigiri Asramam organising secretary Swami Gururathnam Jnanathapasini, Amritanandamayi Math Acharya Swami Amritakripanandapuri, Chinmaya Mission Kerala head Swami Vivekananda Saraswati, and Kozhikode Sarada Math Acharya Pravrajika Mathrika Prana Mataji all addressed the gathering and energized the participants to take the challange to protect the Hindu Dharma and Bharath bhoomi from the onslaught of Jihad and Evangelic menaces.

The programme was blessed by Shankaracharya Swami Jayendra Saraswati of Kanchi Kamkoti Peetham, eminent spiritial guru Jaggi Basudeva, and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar of AOL  and Mata Amritaanandaamoyee Ji.

Kozhikode Mata Amritanandamayi Math Madathipathi Brahmacharya Vivekamrita Chaithanya presented the Sangamam resolution. Swami Dharmananda Hanummaddas of Thiruvananthapuram Kalariyil Dharmikkam read out the pledge to protect Hindu Dharma as a solution of world peace.

SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan; Akkiraman Kalidasa Bhattathirippad of Yoga Kshema Sabha; N.K. Neelakandan of Kerala Pulaya Maha Sabha; M.T. Viswanathan, A.K.B. Nair and Olympian P.T. Usha took important part for a grand success of the programme.

Chinmaya Mission Kozhikode Centre Acharya Brahmachari Mukunda Chaithanya introduced the sanyasis while Hindu Aikya Vedi State general secretary E.S. Biju introduced the leaders of spiritual centres and Hindu organisations.

Leaders from 60 spiritual centres participated in this unique programme of Hindu Unity.

The Oath for Hindu Solidarity

The 2.5 lakh participants of Mahabharatam Dharmaraksha Sangamam 2016 took an oath to protect Kerala as a Land of God and fight against all evils of the society to make a prosperous India out of the clutch of foreign and home grown conspirators like various Jehadi and conversion groups.

Hindus think this divine land and Motherland Bharat as their virtual land of living, Hindus can’t allow any anti-Indian conspiracy so far. As scriptures says, Dharma will protect them who protect Dharma (Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah), every Hindus must protect Dharma for a virtual protection of Hindus and their beloved Mother Land.

The speakers addressed the Hindu concerns regarding ‘Rama Temple in Ayodhya’, ‘National Ban on Cow-Slaughter’, ‘Stopping Love Jihad’, ‘Ban on Conversion’, ‘Strongest steps for the end of Jihad in India’, ‘Common Civil Code’, ‘Free the Dewaswoom Boards from Govt clutch’ and many other Hindu matters.

The spirit of Hindu might and right was seen all along with a high jubilation in the wonderful programme set for ever in the history of Kozhikode and Kerala too.

Cultural Programmes

The programme was concluded with a rich cultural slot  and Bharat Vandana with a visual presentation based on the Mahabharata by Kanakadas Perambra.
