Sanatan Sanstha and HJS welcome ‘Panchadashanaam Juna Akhara’s procession

Ujjain : Procession (Peshwai) was taken out on behalf of ‘Panchadashanaam Akhara’ (Datta Akhara) on 5th April on the occasion of Simhastha-Parva from Neelganga through Ramghat. His Holiness Avadheshanand Giriji Maharaj of ‘Juna Akhara’, Shri. Mahant Devya Giri, Golden Baba, Mahamandaleshwar Pilot Baba, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kapilpuri Maharaj, Mahamandaleshwar Sri Sri Sri 1008 Swami Rajrajeshwaranand Giri Maharaj and Shri-Kashi-Sumeru Peethadheeshwar Jagatguru Shankaracharya Anant Vibhooshit Swami Narendranand Saraswati Maharaj along with many other Saints were present. Local devotees, different communities, Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) welcomed ‘Peshwai’ and did ‘aukshan’.

Pujya Dr. Charudatta Pingale, national Guide of HJS also graced the occasion with his presence. Sanatan and HJS had displayed banners extending hearty welcome to the ‘Peshwai’ on the important roads of Ujjain i.e. Chamunda Mata Chowk to Devas Gate; at some places, seekers were holding banners for welcoming Sadhus-Saints. Saints joining ‘Peshwai’ were welcomed by doing their ‘aarti’ and ‘puja’. Conch was blown and flowers showered on Saints on their arrival. Many Saints showered flowers over seekers and gave garlands and ‘prasad’ to them, in return. Saints used to smile at seekers in response to their welcome.

Highlights

1. Banners displayed by Sanatan were drawing attention of people and many clicked their photographs.

2. Many aged seekers were standing en route, holding banners. Many young men helped them in holding the banners and brought water for such seekers.

3. Police were driving away devotees; but they said nothing to seekers who were standing there holding banners or didn’t ask them to move back.

4. A Sadhu saw the banners and told seekers that he had downloaded Sanatan Panchang’s android edition on his cell phone and he sees it every day. It thus reminds him of Sanatan every day.

5. Many devotees were standing near banners displayed by Sanatan seekers for obtaining blessings of H. H. Avadheshanand Giriji Maharaj. They folded hands in ‘namaskar’ towards Maharaj when he, pointing at Sanatan banners, showed with signs that he and Sanatan were one and together. He also expressed joy to see seekers.

Spiritual experiences

1. Banners were displayed within area of half a km and seekers felt the atmosphere had positive effect due to the banners.

2. Seekers were getting energy and felt enthusiastic after praying to ‘Gram-devata’ Shri Mahakaleshwar while holding banners.

3. Shri. Appasaheb Ananda Sangolkar, Pandharpur, Dist. Solapur – I am suffering from diabetes and need to eat at short-intervals as I feel hungry. I also have to quite often go for urinating but while doing the ‘seva’ of holding banners for 5 hours, I didn’t have any of these problems.

4. Dr. Baburao Lakshman Kadukar, Gadhinglaj, Kolhapur – We were tying banners but once it was not displayed properly; therefore, devotees told us about the same. They were unable to read the banner and it needed to be tied in straight manner. That time, a person came from somewhere with a wire and tied the banner.

5. Sou. Smita Kulkarni, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh – A Saint, who is a worshiper of Lord Datta, showered flowers over seekers when ‘aukshan’ was done for him. That time, seekers could get a different fragrance; feeling the presence of Deities.

(The above experiences are of seekers and workers as individuals as per their devotion and faith; and may not necessarily be experienced by everyone, in general. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
