Ujjain-residents welcome procession taken out by ‘Avahan Akhara’

Simhastha Parva – Ujjain, 2016 : Participation by Sanatan Sanstha and HJS

Ujjain : ‘Avahan Akhara (an associate of Juna Sahayogi Akhara)’ took out a procession on 10th April in the atmosphere of enthusiasm and divine energy. It was the second procession of this Akhara and it was started from Neelganga Chowk at 10.00 a.m. Harigiriji Maharaj, Mahamantri of ‘Akhara Parishada’, Krushnanandpuri Maharaj, office bearers of ‘Kumbh-Mela Committee’, Peethadhishwar, Mahamandaleshwar, Mahants and Naga Sadhus joined the procession. There were elephants, horses and camels in the procession. Different music –bands welcomed the procession en route and there were flowers showered over Sadhus-Saints; paying obeisance to them. The procession was concluded at Ramghat in the afternoon.

Highlights

1. Band of ‘Ramata Juna Dashanaam Akhara’ and Naga Sadhus led the procession.

2. Water was provided on the route of the procession for Sadhus-Saints.

3. Administration cleaned the route of procession with water. The road was also cleaned after conclusion of the procession.

4. Naga Sadhus held demonstrations on use of different arms.

Sanatan Sanstha and HJS join the procession

The procession was started from Neelganga; so at this place, as also at Bharati Vidyapeeth, Sanatan Sanstha’s seekers were standing with hoardings to welcome the procession. ‘Aukshan’ was done of Sadhus and Saints by Sanatan Sanstha and flowers were showered. A squad of Sanatan also joined the procession which was graced by auspicious presence of ‘Pujya’ Dr. Charudatta Pingale.
