Hindus should be allowed to perform ‘puja’ at ‘Ramjanmabhoomi’ : Devout Hindus
New Delhi – On 30th September 2010, Allahabad High Court passed a verdict confirming existence of Shriram Mandir at the controversial place of ‘Rama-janma-bhoomi’ in Ayodhya; but Hindus have not yet been granted permission to perform ‘puja’ at that place. On 15th April, it is Shriram Navami; therefore, Hindus should be granted special permission for ‘Shriram-pujan’; allocation of large funds by Karnataka Government in its budget for appeasing minorities, should be cancelled. The above demands were made during demonstrations staged at Jantar- Mantar on 9th April under auspices of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’. Hindu Legal Cell, Hindu Mahasabha, Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti participated in the demonstrations, along with many devout Hindus.
