Mumbai : Shri. Ramesh Shinde, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s spokeperson for state and Prasar-sevak of Sanatan Sanstha stated that one gets the spiritual experience of bliss by looking at Sanatan’s ‘sattvik’ idol of Sri Ganesh. More than 2 lakhs of people have taken ‘darshan’ of the idol so far. Many devotees have several spiritual experiences on taking ‘darshan’ of the idol.
He was invited as a chief guest on the Sahyadri channel of Mumbai Doordarshan in its News program telecast at 9.30 p.m. While explaining the special features of the ‘sattvik’ idol sculpted by Sanatan seeker Shri. Gurudas Khandeparkar, Shri. Shinde said that the idol has been sculpted according to the ancient ‘vastu-shastra’ and its limbs, ornaments etc. are as per the ancient science. The measurements of the idol are available in Sanatan books or even at the satsangs conducted by the Sanstha. He further said that there has been a very good response from sculptors. He said that making the idol as per the science is not enough but it is necessary that the place where it is made is clean and the sanctity of the place is maintained. The most important thing is that the chanting of Sri Ganesh’s name while sculpting the idol. He said that one gets more benefit when purity and cleanliness is observed while performing puja.
