‘Bhagaini Manch’ organizing ‘Bhagini Mahotsava- 2016’ – Sou. Vaishali Rajesh Kshirsagar
Kolhapur : On the occasion of World Women’s Day, ‘Bhagaini Manch’ has organized ‘Bhagini Mahotsava-2016’ program between April 22 and April 24, 2016 at Private High School ground, Mangalwar Peth. On 24th April, a senior actress Madhutai Kambikar, social activists Shalan Shelke and Manisha Tokale, international cricketer Smriti Mandhana and Kum. Pratiksha Korgaonkar (Hindu Prasarak), State Convener of Ranaragini Division of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) will be conferred the above award, informed Sou. Vaishali Rajesh Kshirsagar, the President of ‘Bhagini Manch’ when MLA, Shri. Rajesh Kshirsagar was also present.
The program will be inaugurated by Sou. Ashwini Ramane, Mayor of Kolhapur at 10.00 a.m. on April 22, 2016 which will be presided over by Shri. Diwakar Raote, Minister – Transport and will be attended by Shri. Vijay Shivatare, State Minister – Water Resources; Shiv Sena –Public Relations Chief Shri. Arun Dudhwadkar; Shiv Sena’s other MLAs, former and current office bearers and office bearers of Shiv Sena’s women’s wing. A squad of women will welcome guests with ‘lazim’; ‘Shahu Garjana Dhol-pathak’ and outdoor games. Shiv Sena’s Secretary-MP Shri. Vinayak Raut and Guardian Minister, Shri. Chandrakantdada Patil will grace the occasion. An appeal has therefore, been made to all citizens including women to attend this program.

She has been working for protection of Hindu Dharma since past 11 years as a full-time activist. She has visited Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand for Hindu Dharmaprasar activities especially in Dhule, Jalgaon, Nandurbar districts of North Maharashtra and created awareness amongst women by meeting them personally. She travels 60-70 kms on two-wheeler for the mission; takes initiative in explaining problems like love jihad to women; takes part in discussion programs held on TV, effectively presenting side of Hindu Dharma. She was successful in bringing local women together for opposing women-activists; trying to enter temple sanctums at Shani Shingnapur, Shri Mahalakhsmi Mandir and Trimbakeshwar.
