Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha at Boisar

Thane (Maharashtra): ‘Sanatan Hindu Dharma’ is the only Dharma in the world and the rest are all various Sects. These Sects are distracting Hindus. Nobody can divide Hindus provided they come together. These days, Hindus prefer to go to churches and durgahs forgetting their Dharma.  It has, therefore, become necessary to impart knowledge to Hindus about their Dharma, right from children to the elders, to generate reverence among them towards Dharma; besides, it is also necessary to undertake purification of ‘Rajneeti (politics)’ that is engaged in attacking Hindus. Every Hindu has to, therefore, follow the path as prescribed by Dharma. The above appeal was made by Sri Sri 1008 Mahatyagi Sharakhandiji Maharaj.

He addressed the ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha’ organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held at Jai Ambe Hall. The meet was attended by more than 750 devout Hindus. The meet began with recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’ by Shri. Gajanan Namjoshi and his associates. The purpose of the meet and details of activities undertaken by HJS were explained by Mr. Sadanand Panchal and the compering was done by Mr. Sumit Sagavekar and Miss Prajakta Tandel. The program concluded with recitation of ‘Vande Mataram’.

Dr. Uday Dhuri of HJS said in his address that on one hand the Government does not seem to do anything for Hindus whereas on the other hand, there is attack on Dharma through denigration of deities etc. These things are required to be stopped. Hindus need to understand that there should be no compromise on matters related to damage caused to Dharma. Mr. Satish Kocharekar of Dharma-shakti Sena said that the condition of Hindus all over the world is very bad; they are being attacked. Conversion of Hindus is also on rise. Hindus should now prepare themselves to fight against these things. They need to undertake spiritual practice and follow the path as prescribed by Dharma so as to seek divine help.

Mrs. Janhavi Bhardike of ‘Ranaragini’ branch said that it has been observed that Hindu women were targeted during the riots that took place in Maharashtra. All women should become ‘Ranaraginis’ by keeping the ideal of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi before them rather than emulating film heroines. They should take training in self-defence as also ‘Dharma-shikshan’ to fight against attacks on them in the form of ‘love jihad’.

Mr. Suresh Patil, the Dy. Sarpanch, Boisar Gram-panchayat, Mr. Sanjay Patil, area-chief Shiv Sena, Ashok Vade, Palghar taluka, deputychief of Shiv Sena, Mr. Prabhakar Raul etc. extended help in organisation of the meet.

Highlights

  • Many people were standing outside the hall and listening to the speeches.
  • Many disciples and devotees of Sri Sri 1008 Mahatyagi Sharkhandiji Swami attended the meet.

In the end of the program, while bestowing his blessings on HJS, Swamiji said, “All help should be extended to the Hindu Dharma-jagruti Sabhas by offering one’s body, mind and wealth. If such ‘sabha’s are organised regularly, Hindus are bound to become aware towards their Dharma. My blessings and best wishes to HJS in its activities.”
