Complaint lodged with Margao city police station against publishing denigrating picture of Shri Durgadevi !

Police should take stringent action against the concerned so as to prevent others from committing similar wrong !

This picture has not been published to hurt religious sentiments of anyone but it is for readers to know how anti-Hindu Fernandez has denigrated the Deity. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat

Margao – Anti-Hindu Varun Fernandez has published a denigrating picture of Shri Durgadevi revered by all Hindus, on his music album’s label titled ‘Sub continental -Vol. 2’. (Lack of Dharmabhiman amongst Hindus is the reason of Christians daring to make mockery of Hindus’ Deities. Why don’t these Christians dare to denigrate Jesus ? They are always searching for reasons to hurt religious sentiments of Hindus; still Hindus keep on talking about secularism ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Shri. Arun Parulekar, a devout Hindu from Margao has lodged a complaint with Margao police station on 26th April and demanded to file FIR against anti-Hindu Fernandez.

Varun Fernandez, in his music album called ‘Sub continental- Vol. 2’ has published a denigrating picture of Shri Durgadevi on its label wherein the Goddess is shown with a string of skulls; besides showing another skull in her left hand. Out of her 4 hands, 2 hands are shown as holding sickle and another hand holding a trident. The picture has been uploaded on Facebook. Shri. Parulekar, a devout Hindu has stated in his complaint that such picture has hurt his religious sentiments. Picture of Shri Durgadevi has been used for commercial purpose. Shri. Varun Fernandez seems to be a Christian from his name. Use of Shri Durgadevi’s picture for commercial purpose may lead to creating communal tension and disturbing peace. Varun Fernandez has purposely and out of spite done such thing to hurt religious sentiments of Hindus.
