Hindutvavadis submitting representation to police

Kolhapur – Shri Mahalakshmi Devasthan Bhrashtachar-virodhi Kruti Samiti (Anti-corruption action committee) submitted representation to additional Police Inspector S. Chaitanya demanding immediate removal of unauthorized toilet constructed at Manikarnika Kunda; as despite lodging complaints, no action has yet been taken. Municipal Commissioner, District Collector and police administration should look into the matter and take necessary action; else administration will be solely responsible for outbreak of sentiments of devotees and Hindutvavadis. Shiv Sena Dy. District Collector Shri. Sambhaji Bhokare, Shri. Chandrakant Barale and activists of Hindu Janajagruiti Samiti (HJS) were present on the occasion.
Toilet built in unauthorized manner over Manikarnika Kunda should be immediately closed and the ‘Kunda’ should be opened for devotees, was the complaint lodged by Hindutvavadis on 9th March 2016 with ‘Juna Rajwada’ police station. Nothing has been done even after a month has passed since then; therefore, the complaint should be promptly taken note of, was the demand made through representation.
