Rashtriya Hindu Andolan at Jalgaon
Jalgaon : Demonstrations were staged under the aegis of Rashtriya Hindu Andolan for demands like stop cow-slaughter; strict implementation of Act banning cow-slaughter; stop appeasement of minorities and for establishment of Hindu Rashtra. Slogans were also raised for the above demands, waking up local administration. H.B.P. Varsalekar Maharaj, BJP’s Shri. Kishore Wagh, Shri. Shreyas Pisolkar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sanatan Sanstha’s Shri. Dattatreya Waghulade were present.
On 23rd April at 10.00 a.m., demonstrations were staged near Municipal Corporation’s building at Jalgaon by blowing of conch and reciting Ganesh-shloka. Shri. Kishore Wagh of BJP said that it is shameful that cows are still slaughtered in the State. He made an appeal to everyone to unite for strict implementation of this Act. Shri. Shreyas Pisolkar said that the scheme of sale of cow-skin and bones should be cancelled and appeasement of minorities using Hindus’ money should be stopped.
Sanatan Sanstha’s Kum. Puja Jadhav said that Hindus were always given secondary status in Karnataka. Everyone should be given equal treatment. Minorities should not be distributed money for appeasement. Money collected from Hindus’ temples should be utilized only for Hindus’ temples.
More than 35 devout Hindus participated in demonstrations.
