It is very unfortunate that an appeal is required to be made to unite Hindus in Hindustan ! – Dr. Satchidananda Shevade

Inauguration of Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha by lighting Samai

Pune (Maharashtra): In countries like England, France, Germany etc., one does not have to appeal to the people to come together; but in Hindustan, Hindus are required to be told to come together and it is very unfortunate. Today, one sees the words like ‘courage’ and ‘love/ affection’ only in books; finds only in history. We only say ‘Sainik ho tumachya sathi …….( it is only for you soldiers …)’; but do we really remember our soldiers when we have our meals every day? The above question was raised by Dr. Satchidananda Shevade, the famous writer and orator. He was addressing the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held at historical place, Shaniwar Wada. The meeting was attended by 2500 devout Hindus.

The meeting started with recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’ by ‘Vedamurti’ Wamanrao Pundalik Halabe Guruji and Pradip Vaze Guruji. Mr. Vinay Panwalkar read out the resolutions presented in the meeting which were passed unanimously by all Hindus with the slogans ‘Har Har Mahadev’. Mr. Sunil Ghanavat introduced the members of audience to the activities of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

A good response was received for the signature drive from the devout Hindus against the Government for its proposal to bring a ban on organizations like Sanatan Sanstha, HJS, VHP, Bajarang Dal and Shiv Sena and against those who refuse to say ‘Vande Mataram’.

Vidyadhar Nargolkar, ‘Mahamantri’ of Swatantryaveer Savarkar Smruti Pratishthan and a senior pro-Hindu conferred with ‘Hindu Dharma-ratna’ award

HJS felicitated Mr. Vidyadhar Nargolkar, ‘Mahamantri’ of Swatantryaveer Savarkar Smruti Pratishthan and a senior pro-Hindu by conferring upon him ‘Hindu Dharma-ratna’ award which was presented to him by Dr. Shevade. The award comprises of a shawl, Sreefal (coconut), garland and a memento. Advocate Mohanrao Dongare was also specially felicitated by HJS for his active participation in a committee for eradication of injustice set up by HJS.

Brilliant thoughts expressed by the dignitaries

Take an oath to devote at least 1 hour for Dharma – Mr. Girish Bapat, MLA

BJP MLA Mr. Girish Bapat said, “The Congress adopted the policy of ‘Divide and Rule’ and created rift among Hindus and ruled this country. Following the Goble’s policy, they kept away 45 % of the Hindu population comprising of tribals, down-trodden etc. from Dharma. Hindus must do introspection and explain the importance of Dharma to those who are getting converted to other religions and should devote 1 hour every day for Dharma.”

The definition of tolerance should be ‘Hindus would not tolerate injustice’ – Mr. Ramesh Shinde

Along with the definition of tolerance that ‘Hindus would not do injustice to anyone’, another definition viz. ‘Hindu would not tolerate injustice’ should be adopted, stated Mr. Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat. While giving an example of secularism he said that the colour of blood is red for all but this blood should be checked for the count of patriotism in it. Distortion of history through NCERT text books, objection raised to display of picture showing slaying of Afzal Khan etc. are very unfortunate things.

Security of Nation and Dharma is important for the progress of the Nation – Mr. Vinay Panwalkar

Mr. Vinay Panwalkar of Dharma-shakti Sena said that the young generation is under the influence of western culture and have lost the latent ‘Kshatra-tej’ in them. It is necessary that these youth chant the name of their ‘Kuldevata (family deity)’ to awaken this inactive ‘Shiva-tej’. Right to live is not conferred on you but it has to be obtained with efforts. Hindus must remember the above and get ready for lawful fight to change this situation.

Social security is jeopardized due to blindly following western culture – Mrs. Anjali Joshi

Mrs. Anjali Joshi of ‘Ranaragini’ said that the indecent influence of TV channels, plays, films on youth is on the rise, therefore, we see women wearing short clothes , blindly following western culture etc. which has resulted in their social security getting jeopardized and their repression. Women should study Dharma and protect their virtues. They should also take training in self-defense for their security.
