Ichalkaranji : On 8th May, on the occasion of Shiva-jayanti, ‘Samasta Jawahar Nagar Muslim Samaj’ displayed digital boards giving wrong information about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj; misleading people. It was noted by ‘Hindutvavadis’ and they lodged a complaint with police station. The concerned Muslim organization was then advised to remove the objectionable board. What was the objectionable information displayed on Roshan Group’s board
There are 6000 digital and plain boards displayed by pro-Hindu organizations in the city on the occasion of Shiva Jayanti. ‘Samasta Jawahar Nagar Muslim Samaj’ displayed a huge board in the name of ‘Roshan Group’. It was written on the board under title ‘Shivaraya’s loyal Muslim Mawlas’ that there were Muslim sardars, mawlas, senapati, army officers and 57% army in Swarajya was Muslim, Shivaji Maharaj had Muslim Guru Maunibaba and Sufi Saint Yakutbaba. Similar other objectionable information was also written on the board and there were discussions going on in the city over this board. (Scheming ‘Samasta Jawaharnagar Muslim Samaj’ ! Why didn’t the local administration and police note the wrong information given about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the board ? This board would have been continued to be displayed if ‘Hindutvavadis’ had not taken objection. Shri. Bal Maharaj, Executive President of VHP, its regional convener Jawahar Chhabra, Bajarang Dal’s Sujeet Kambale, city-chief Banda Jadhav informed Intelligence Departments of 3 police stations that wrong history about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was displayed on the board; with the aim of creating tension in the atmosphere; therefore, the board should be immediately removed. Shri. Bal Maharaj said, “Bring all those people before me who have claimed that ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’ was Muslim ‘Rhuday-Samrat’; I will tell them true history.” Police, realizing the situation, asked ‘Jawaharnagar Muslim Samaj’ to remove the objectionable board.
