New Panvel:
“Dharma-sabha’ organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti here was well attended. Many devout Hindus showed interest in taking part in the activities of HJS. Accordingly, to decide about the further course of action, a follow up meeting was held in Sriram Temple. The devout Hindus attending the meeting expressed their opinion on attacks on Hindus Dharma and their solution.

In the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Sudhir Tavare of HJS explained about various attacks on Hindu Dharma and activities undertaken by HJS so also the response received to such activities from the people. Mr. Mali said that a channel educating people on Dharma should be started with the help of affluent Hindus. Mr. Upadhye said that every Hindu should make a beginning to follow ‘Dharmacharan’ with little things like applying ‘tilak’ on his forehead and be alert towards incidents of attacks on Hindu Dharma. They should first educate themselves and seek help of HJS in such matters. It has been decided to hold ‘Dharmashikshan Classes’ on every Sunday at 7.30 p.m. in Sriram Temple.
