Pune : In the meeting of Kanhaiya Kumar held at Mumbai, a booklet insulting honorable Balasaheb Thackeray was distributed to spread hatred. Honorable Balasaheb Thackeray has been insulted in disgraceful language, hurting Hindus’ sentiments; therefore, cases should be immediately filed against Kanhaiya Kumar and the organizers of his programs. It is his ploy to spread hatred amongst people by insulting Hon. Balasaheb Thackeray, stated Shri. Abhay Vartak, spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha in press conference held at Span Executive, Shivajinagar on 24th April. Shri. Parag Gokhale of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Shri. Kunal Sathe of ‘Akhil Pimpri-Chinchwad Shivjayanti Mahotsava Samiti’, Adv. Rajabhau Deshpande of ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’ were present on the occasion.

Pro-Hindu organizations had requested that Kanhaiya Kumar should not be allowed to hold meeting in Mumbai, considering anti-national activities and anti-Hindu propagation by him carried in his past meetings. Police informed that his meeting was only for invitees and they would be video-recording the same. Police also promised ‘Hindutvavdis’ that they would take immediate action if attempts were made to provoke people through speeches. In a meeting held at Mumbai under police protection, books were distributed which had disgraceful insult of ‘Hindu-Rhuday-Samrat’ Balasaheb Thackeray, respected by all Hindus but no action was taken by police nor any case was filed in this regard which is quite suspicious. It is very sad that police are trying to protect a students’ leader against whom case of sedition has been filed and who is a supporter of terrorism. Police should take serious note of this offence and file cases against Kanhaiayakumar as also against organizers of his programs. His program proposed to be held at Pune should be cancelled, were the demands made by HJS in its press release.

Disgraceful statements made in a booklet written after one year after death of ‘Hindu-Rhuday-Samrat’ Balasaheb Thackeray, titled ‘Bhaandavalaa cha Brahmani Dev Bal Thackeray’

  • Adjectives used for Balasaheb Thackeray in this book : One who is after human blood; hoolingans using name of Shivaji Maharaj, having mental bio-polar disorder, coward and spineless man
  • People attended his funeral not out of respect for Balasaheb but out of fear
  • Balasaheb Thackeray made use of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s name
  • Shiv Sena’s tiger with Congress’ leash

A poem has been printed on last page of this book defaming him.
