Maharashtra Government, after coming to power, enacted a law banning cow-slaughter in the year 2015; but trafficking of beef is taking place on large scale at Mumbai, Nashik, Pune, Dhule, Miraj etc; therefore, the Act banning cow-slaughter needs to be strictly implemented and punishment and fine for the crime should be made more stringent. Gou-rakshaks putting their life in danger for protection of cows should be given few rights as they are helping to implement this Act and they should be provided protection.

Karnataka Government has provided funds in its budget for 2016 for welfare of all non-Hindus. On one hand, it is claimed that India is a secular country and on the other hand, funds are provided in budget only for Muslims and Christians. Is it within the purview of Constitution ? Karnataka Government should therefore, cancel the huge funds allocated for minorities in its budget.
