Chennai : Vishwa Hindu Parishad has launched a Vishwa Hindu TV  on 5th December, 2009, at VHP Office, Chennai in the Holy Presence of Kanchi Kamakoti Jagadguru Sree Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji and Mr. Subramaniam Swamy, Janata Party; Mr. Ashok Singhal, VHP; Mr. Vedantham;  Mr. Gopal, Youth State President of VHP

Mr. Vedantham reiterated the fact that bringing back the pride of being a Hindu is the main aim of floating Vishwa Hindu TV. He also told that this project is sure to succeed because of the blessings of Sree Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji , whose very name (Jayam) spells success.

Mr. Subramaniam Swamy, Janata Party in his speech told that it is not enough if we are strong and in majority, but a drastic change in our outlook and mental attitude is very much needed. He compared the state of Hindus to that of strong lions in a circus under the complete control of the ring master. This change can materialize only through such Pro-Hindu media. This Hindu media is not only imperative for Hindus but also for our country’s bright future.

Mr. Ashok Singhal, VHP told that lot of misfortunes happen and the country is especially going through difficult times. People should know what VHP stands for. VHP is a Kshatriya movement, a Brahmanic Movement, a Vaishya Movement and a Shudra Movement.  The success and a large number of Ekal Vidyalayas prove this . He also highlighted the Babri masjid issue.  No namaz was offered there for decades together. Still, they claim a right to that place.

Shankaracharya Jayendra saraswati Swamiji in His address told that this project is bound to succeed with the blessings of His Guru. He observed that , nowadays many people go to the temple regularly.  Still, many their difficulties persist. That is because of the lack of urge for Sanatan Dharma. Hindu culture, tradition, heritage, good qualities and a sense of pride for Hindu Dharma should be developed. Only when our rich culture and heritage is preserved , our difficulties will also automatically come down. He blessed all those who are actively engaged in this noble cause.

The whole program was compered by Mr. Shyam of Viswa Hindu TV and the vote of Thanks was proposed by Smt. Girija Seshadri, the senior Principal of Hindu Vidyalayas .
