Dnyanpeeth has appealed through a circular that as per science, immersion should be done in flowing water or water reservoirs and immersion in closed water tanks or donation of idols should be avoided.
It is against the science. On the occasion of ‘Rhushi-Panchami’, 12 eminent personalities were felicitated on behalf of Sharada Dnyanpeeth through the Chief Guest Dr. Deepak Tilak, Chancellor of Tilak Maharashtra University and editor of newspaper ‘Kesari’. The program was arranged at Tilak Smarak Mandir. The program was attended by Dr. Vishwanath Karad, founder of MIT and Dr. Vasant Gadgil, founder and Director of Sharada Dnyanpeeth. On behalf of Sanatan, its short book on ‘How to perform Aarati’ was presented to all the 12 dignitaries who were felicitated.
