Why we must stop such Denigration of Hindu Icons?

 

Appeal to devout Hindus

Malaysia Airlines has denigrated Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by pronouncing his name wrongly even though a devout Hindu asked them to pronounce Shivaji Majaraj's name correctly. This person has also gave written complaint in the office of Malaysia Airlines, but they have not given any reply to him. All Hindus must protest against Malaysia Airlines lawfully to get apology from them and to assure that they pronounce name of Shivaji Maharaj correctly.

Following is the matter sent by a devout Hindu by e-mail to us:

This is the incidence of 11 November 2009 , while I was traveling from Kualalumpur to Mumbai by Malaysia Airlines.  When the flight landed to Mumbai round ,the flight attendant announced that we have reached CHATTRAPATI SHIVAJA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, instead of CHATTRAPATI SHIVAJI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. She said it twice, so I was shocked to hear that.

Then I immediately went and told the other flight officer to ask her to pronounce the name of Shivaji Maharaj correctly again, plane was still in motion, it stopped, there was no announcement made about the correction on name, one of the attendant said we are sorry for the wrong pronouncation. I could not digest that and ask him why it was not corrected on that same moment when I complained,also plan was still in motion.

I said I want written apology from the person who have wrongly pronounced the name of Shivaji Maharaj, it is not that first time she is on the flight and she must be having a sheet where by it is written everything what she has to say. Then they asked me to come down to the airport and we will give you written apology.

One of the supervising flight attendant told me to come to first floor office of Malaysia Airlines, I will meet you and you give your written complaint. It took me 2 hours to reach to first floor cause security did not allow me to go in , so I had to take the support of CISF officer. Finally I met with Malaysia Airlines manager and gave my written complaint.

Even after so many days there is no reply from there side, I asked for apology in hard copy and also gave my email address.
