Sangli : “I did realise what exactly needs to be done for prevention of denigration of Deities. As activities undertaken by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) are appropriate in this connection, I have decided to take help of HJS to prevent such denigration. Hindus should be educated in matters related to Dharma so that they follow ‘Dharmacharan’ as prescribed in Dharma.” The above views were expressed by Bhagavat Kinkar, Shri. Anuragkrushnaji Shastri, alias Kanhaiyaji, the President of ‘Bhagavat Seva Sanstha’ from Vrundavan.  He was on a visit to Sangli for a series of lectures held there when members of HJS called on him.

Mr. Dattatreya Retharekar of HJS explained to him the mission of HJS and various activities undertaken in that connection. He was explained in detail about the attacks on Hindu Dharma and the action so far taken by HJS to stop prevention of Deities. He was quite impressed with the activities of HJS and stated that there was a need for such kind of activities today. Mrs. Vidya Jakhotia and Mrs. Sampada Patankar of HJS were present on the occasion.
