‘Hindu terrorism’ is wrong use of the words ! – Mr. Ramesh Shinde, HJS

Pune (Maharashtra): It used to be said about ‘jihadi’ terrorism till recently that terrorism has no religion; but since past few months, the word ‘Hindu terrorism’ is being commonly used. Hinduism is an attitude, a way of life and culture. Hindus were never terrorists in the past, are not terrorists now and will not be terrorists even in future. Therefore, it is wrong to use the words ‘Hindu terrorism’. The above views were expressed by Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat.  He was speaking in a public meeting organized by ‘Nava Sinhgad Parisar Sanskrutik Kala Manch’ at Parinay Mangal Karyalay, Manikbaug. The topic of the lecture was ‘Mohammad Afzal to Hindu Terrorism’. The dais was shared by Mr. Rajeev Dixit, secretary of ‘Bharat Swabhiman Trust’ and Mr. Jitendra Ranade, the editor of ‘Nava Sinhgad Parisar’. There were more than 600 people who attended the program.

Mr. Shinde said, “In a case filed by a Muslim student, he had sought permission to grow beard as prescribed by his religion. The Supreme Court had remarked while passing the verdict that ‘Do not convert India into Taliban’. On this, he had immediately lodged a complaint with ‘the Bench’ and forced the judge to render apology for calling him Talibani. Now everyone is calling Hindus as terrorists but they are not bothered. Hindus should not tolerate such allegation.”

Be ready to fight against today’s politicians looting this country who are like demon Ravana ! – Rajiv Dixit

Today, India is pervaded with corruption. This country was looted by the white British before Independence and by the black British after the Independence. Mr. Dixit made an appeal to the people to be prepared to fight against today’s demonic politicians like Ravan looting this country. Mr. Dixit talked on the topic of ‘Indian politics and the moral values’.

He said further that it was necessary to have some curb of ‘Dharma satta (power of righteousness)’ over ‘Raj-satta’; therefore, a ‘sanyasi sant (an ascetic)’ like H. H. Swami Ramdev Baba has taken initiative. According to ‘Chanakya-neeti’, it is necessary to improve the economic system before bringing improvement in ‘Dharma’ matters. H. H. Swami Ramdev Baba has waged a war against corruption. In matters of corruption, no political party is different. According to our survey, 80,000 people belonging to 38 political parties are corrupt. If required, ‘Bharat Swabhiman Trust’ will take up the matter and try to get all such candidates elected to the Parliament who are not corrupt. For this, however, we need cooperation of our 5 crore citizens and H. H. Ramdev Baba will be personally looking into the matter. The new Government would give quick justice and in cases like corruption and rape etc. the offender would be executed within 3 months.”

He said, “ The British looted 350 lakhs crores of rupees from this country during their regime of 150 years whereas today’s rulers are looting 18 lakh crores every year. In the year 1984, late Rajiv Gandhi had made a shocking statement that out of one rupee spent for the common man, only 15 paise were actually reaching him. Now CAG has declared that in the year 2009, out of that one rupee, only 10 paise are reaching the common man. If this same condition prevails, the common man will get only 5 paise in future.”

There was an exhibition of books published by Sanatan Sanstha and Patanjali Yoga Samiti at the venue. ‘Karnala Charitable Trust’ had also put up an enlightening exhibition. The exhibition put up by Sanatan Sanstha including pictures on how to follow ‘Dharmacharan’ in one’s daily life was attracting attention of the participants.
