Mayem (Goa): The villagers of Mayem exhibited their regard and love for Hindutva by attending Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Dharmajagruti Sabha in large numbers. The HJS had organised a Dharmajagruti Sabha at Adinath Sampradaya Matt Hall, Mayem. At this time, Mr. Kashiram Viturkar, senior disciple of Adinath Sampradaya Matt, Mayem; Mr. Sakaram Pednekar; Shri. Ramesh Naik of Marathi Rajyabhasha Prasthapan Samiti; Mr. Jayesh Thali of HJS; Mr. Sadashiv Dhond of Dharma Shakti Sena and Mrs. Rajshree Gadekar of Ranaragini were present on the dais.

The Sabha was commenced with the blowing of the conch, recitation of Vedic Mantras and lighting of the auspicious lamp (deep) by Mr. Sakharam Pednekar. Mr. Jayesh Thali while addressing the gathering said that Hindu Dharma is being attacked on different fronts and Hindus should fight united against this. Mrs. Rajashree Gadekar highlighted the atrocities against women and appealed to the women to put up a united fight against it. Mr. Sakharam Pednekar appealed to the people not to fall prey to rumours against different sects and organizations who are striving to save our ancient Sanatan culture and unite together to contribute whatever little they can towards safeguarding Dharma (Righteousness). Mr. Sadashiv Dhond of the Dharmashakti Sena said that, in recent times, plots are being devised to defame and shut down Hindu organizations like Sanatan Sanstha, various sects and saints. Mr. Ramesh Naik appealed to the people to take to the streets if incidents of harassment of Hindu sects, spiritual organizations and religious leaders occur.
