Abhijit K A, a ‘Hindutvavadi’ from Kerala exposed and raised voice against it !
Mistake committed by Government- recognized national Institution is not only serious but also unpardonable ! – Editor, Hindujagruti.org
Mumbai : ‘The Bharat Scout & Guides (BSG)’ is a Government-recognized voluntary organization that imparts training to youth of this country on their duties towards God and nation. It was observed that in its books ‘APRO- Part- II’ and ‘APRO- Part-III’; so also in their logo of ‘International Jamboree’, part of Kashmir was shown in Pakistan in India’s map, which is quite infuriating.
1. A. After the matter became ‘viral’ on social websites and opposition by ‘Hindutvavadis’, the officers of this organization had to rectify this serious mistake.
2. Recently, the Central Government has warned that an Act would be passed and stringent action would be taken for distorting India’s map. Pakistan has even lodged a complaint with United Nations in this regard.
3. In this background, an old and renowned organization like BSG publishing distorted map of India is a serious matter.
4. The mistake is going to be rectified by pasting stickers of official map of India in copies of already published books and it will be corrected at the time of publishing its next edition, informed K. Sukumar, Director of BSG by issuing a special notice to all State secretaries of the organization.
