Pimpri (Pune) : ‘Kul-Purush’ of revolutionaries and ‘Hindu-ruday-Samrat’ Swatantryaveer Savarkar was an intense advocate (defending concept) of Hindu Rashtra. Let us remember his fiery thoughts on the day of his birth anniversary and make a resolve to establish Hindu Rashtra, stated Shri. Chaitanya Tagade of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). HJS held a program to commemorate 133rd birth anniversary of Swatantryaveer Savarkar on the grounds of Parvati English Medium School at Kalewadi which was addressed by Shri. Tagade. More than 50 patrons of Savarkar attended the program. He said further, “Savarkar used to advise Hindus to take oath and say that even if he was given the post of ‘Indra’ by converting to another religion, he would not accept it and would prefer to die as the last Hindu. Savarkar was of the view that conversion to other religion meant shifting loyalty to another nation. As fire is always kept burning in sacred fire of ‘Agnihotra’, Hindus should also preserve ‘Hindutva’ in their hearts. Hindu Rashtra doesn’t now need only martyrs. Our generation brought nation on the same step as of martyrs. Now, the next generation should become brave warriors and climb the step of victory.” It shows the vision of Savarkar and what he expected future generation to feel towards own Dharma. Savarkar’s work covered purification of language, purification of converted Hindus, uniting Hindus lifting them above caste and creed etc. Hindus’ striving hard for establishment of Hindu Rashtra will be true homage to Swa. Savarkar.
Shri. Jayesh Borase of HJS did compeering of the program. Shri. Nadhe-Patil, founder-President of Parvati English Medium School made available school-ground for the program. Sanatan Sanstha, Thane held an exhibition of flex- boards at the venue, giving information on life history of different revolutionaries.
